Korea's Initiatives
The Korea Water Forum contributed to the successful hosting of the 7th World Water Forum by closely engaging in the hosting and preparation for winning of the bid (Operation of the joint secretariat of the bidding committee). During the 7th World Water Forum, the Korea Water Forum was fully in charge of operating science and technology process and citizen forum and served as a coordinator of thematic process the Northeast Asian region in the regional process. In addition, Korea Water Forum has been working as a major organization in the water field by taking charge of follow-up activities since the 7th World Water Forum.
Korea International Water Week, KIWW
KIWW is an annual international event, co-hosted by the Ministry of Environment, Daegu Metropolitan City and K-water and organized by Korea Water Forum contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by sharing feasible solutions to resolve global water problems.

World Water Partnership
World Water Partnership is a gathering between host countries of previous of World Water Fora for partnership. It aims to establish various water-related initiatives and action plans by leading the international community’s major water agenda and sharing cases to resolve water issues contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals.

World Water Challenge
The World Water Challenge is an international contest launched in the 7th World Water Forum, aiming to linking problem owners and solution providers on primary water agenda. Through presentation of custom innovative technology and ideas on water, Selected winners are awarded and invited to the KIWW.

Implementation Roadmap and Action Monitoring System are a formal mechanism for tracking process and implementation of sixteen themes goals related to water designed in the 7th World Water Forum.
