The Korea Water Forum contributed to the successful hosting of the 7th World Water Forum by closely engaging in the hosting and preparation for winning of the bid (Operation of the joint secretariat of the bidding committee). During the 7th World Water Forum, the Korea Water Forum was fully in charge of operating science and technology process and citizen forum and served as a coordinator of thematic process the Northeast Asian region in the regional process. In addition, Korea Water Forum has been working as a major organization in the water field by taking charge of follow-up activities since the 7th World Water Forum.

KIWW is an annual international event, co-hosted by the Ministry of Environment, Daegu Metropolitan City and K-water and organized by Korea Water Forum contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by sharing feasible solutions to resolve global water problems.
