Water Policy

Korea Water Forum has organized several consultative forums - multi-stakeholders’ consultative forum (mainly public organizations), Civil Forum, Expert Forum, which hold regular meetings in a bid to promoting communications and information sharing among diverse stakeholders those implementing water-related global cooperation. Through this effort, KWF is willing to check on the items on international cooperation in water, and proceed to develop a representing water agenda by setting up a plan for comprehensive international cooperation.

    Public-based organizations and associations share their experience, knowledge, and information regarding international water cooperation, so that advance cooperation issues and plans, discuss a variety of public-based cooperation activities
  • Civil Forum

    Over 10 local communities gather the opinions on the civil societies’ needs for international cooperation in water, besides, share related information from public organizations, so that suggest opinions on the global cooperation, and discuss the water agenda-related activities
  • Expert Forum

    Approx. 20 individual experts gather to understand the current status of international cooperation and boost mutual understanding among all stakeholders in water field, so that suggest a comprehensive roadmap of global water cooperation, have a discussion on developing representing water agenda and further cooperation issues by activity
