Participated in the 2nd Delta Coalition Ministerial Conference (Dhaka, Bangladesh)

- 10 Organized the Korea International Water Week 2016 (Annually held since 2016)
- 03 Started publishing semi-annual Implementation Roadmap Report (until 2018)

- 05 Launched Joint secretariat with Bidding Committee of the 7th World Water Forum
- 02 Initiated Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) Korea (Operated around 10 times per year for teachers and elementary school students)

- 10 Joined Board of Governors of World Water Counil and President Eun-Kyoung Park appointed as a Bureau member
- 09 Appointed Dr. Eun-Kyung Park as the 2nd president of Korea Water Forum
- 06 Hosted the 1st Korea Junior Water Prize (Annually held since 2009)

- 09 Supported ‘High-Level Expert Panel on Water and Disaster (HLEP)’ under the ‘UN Secretary General’s Advisory Board in Water and Sanitation (UNSGAB)’ (Chairperson-Dr. HAN, Seung-soo, 1st President of KWF)
- 05 Published quarterly magazine ‘World with Water’ (2008~2013)
2006
- 05 Appointed Dr. HAN, Seung-soo(Former Prime Minister of Rep. of Korea, UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy on Disaster on Water and Disasters (HELP)) as the 1st president of Korea Water Forum
2005
- 05 Obtained permission of incorporation for Korea Water Forum
- 02 Launched the ‘Korea Water Forum Preparatory Committee’ under the union of 5 agencies- the Ministry of Construction and Transportation, the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Korea Meteorological Administration, and the National Emergency Management Agency
